The Galerie de Bayser was founded by Patrick and Rose-Anne de Bayser in 1936. It has since then provided drawings to collectors, helping them to make their choice, and to museums looking for rare pieces.
We present a large selection of drawings, framed or in boxes, ranging from the sixteenth to the twentieth century in all European schools.
Our gallery is located between the Louvre and the Opera, in a charming Hotel Particulier built in 1674 for the Marquis de Louvois.
The Expertise Cabinet
Cabinet de Bayser has been an expert in old master drawings for 50 years, and is France’s leading expert in old master drawings. We work with over 100 auctioneers in Paris and the provinces.
Every year, the cabinet organizes a dozen specialized public sales of old master drawings during its peak selling periods: March, June and December.
Les Cahiers du Dessin Français
Published by Galerie de Bayser since 1985, Les Cahiers du Dessin Français aims to study the graphic work of an artist for whom few bibliographical references exist.
The editorial selection is entrusted to a specialist in the artist concerned, whether a museum curator and/or art historian.
Each issue includes a general introduction to the artist, followed by an illustrated catalog of some 50 drawings characteristic of his graphic work.
